Luanna Flammia
Luanna Flammia is a Contemporary artist who lives and works between London and Bedfordshire. Luanna combines mixed media on canvas to create vivid abstract forms, often interpreted as landscape connotations.
The popular artist is known for her use of Silver leaf and 24ct gold submerged onto and beneath layers of oil, acrylic and ink creating transparency and perspective. Her Mediterranean palette references her Italian culture whilst her paintings' are inspired by the great masters of romanticism, including the Hudson River Artists (1825)
Discovery has sparked Luanna’s colour palette, each stroke can be compared to the depths of the Black Forest, Germany. The vibrancy of the pigments are reminiscent of colourful North and Southern India, as well as Swiss influences of medieval architecture and Fresco paintings from a small town, Stein en Rein.
Luanna’s abstract paintings represent a deep and personal journey exploring aspects and characteristics of ourselves which make us who we are. Luanna has recently created four art prints for retail store Homesense and regularly exhibits at the Affordable Art Fair. She belongs to several private collections around the world, including France, India and America to name a few.
